Today is day 1 of a GREAT ADVENTURE! It is the afternoon of May 8 (Friday) and we are heading north - destination Haines, Alaska. We hope to be in Haines by Wednesday May 13. We are towing the 5th wheel loaded with all of Bob's worldly belongings that he will need for the next 4 months. (Yes, the slideout has been fixed in case you read last years blog.). This year we do not have the little dog with us. She is home probably crying her eyes out over Bob!!
Today we drove 240 miles. Saw a big fat coyote in a field near Everett, WA. 58 and sunny this afternoon. We stayed at a rest stop at Marysville, WA. (First time we have ever stayed in a rest stop!) We will cross the border into Canada in the morning. We are seeing very few north bound RV's.
